Dollywood is in Pigeon Forge, a short drive off the Parkway. Cabins in the hills near the park let you get in at opening, come back for an afternoon break and return for the evening lights without fighting the main strip twice a day.
When it is hardest to find a cabin

- Map the drive from the cabin to Dollywood's parking, avoiding the Parkway where possible.
- Prioritize a pool or game room. Kids will want downtime between park sessions.
- Ask about driveway access for winter Christmas visits.
